Oblivion Speed Run :: Done under 15 min!

Okay, this was my first semi-successful attempt at an Oblivion Speed Run. It took me a total of 14 minutes and 58 seconds making it just under 15 minutes. Obviously glitches were used, but absolutely NO MODDING was done. I know there is a lot of room to improve (especially at the paint brush part. I just can't get the hang of that yet.) and I will attempt again soon. I encourage you all to try and see if you can beat my time. I might do something special for the person with the best time. This was done on the Xbox 360.

If you guys want me to do a commentary break down of how, why, and what I did, let me know in the comment section. Also, I know there are faster times on YouTube. This was my first attempt. I did this for fun so please don't spam me with hate in the comment section. It's uneccessary.

I looked for others on YouTube and mine was the only I could find starting from scratch so these are the steps I took:

1) Get some moolah- I could have just sold all the stuff I acquired in the tutorial phase but there was no promise I would get the 400 gold I needed to buy the scrolls. So I go to the Arena and steal the 500 gold always in the chest.

2) Next I needed to find a paint brush in one of the boxes/barrels in the market district. This part is tricky as it is completely random. As you can see luck plays a major roll.

3) I needed to buy scrolls from the guy in the market district in order to do the duplication glitch. For some reason the store was glitched which was why I needed to pick my way in, talk to him, leave, then re-enter. That wasted a lot of time. But I needed multiple of the same scroll to do the duplication glitch to get more paint brushes.

4) Go to the temple district and create a paint brush ladder to glitch into the building. Obviously I struggled with this. There is also another way that I will try later. But there is much room for improvement here.

5) Enter the door sticking out of the ground and complete the game. (:
