@giglio33012 Didn't mean it that way, Bro. Meant older whites are paying for separating the races. Before integration black perfomers rarely had concerts for whites because of no mixing of audiences. Today concerts are mixed but how can whites relate to Jay-Z and Lil' Wayne? They can't even relate to Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber! It's hell to know you could have seen a James Brown concert if only the Godfather of Soul could've performed at Madison. JB's biggest concerts were at the Apollo.

@doc2skate if hip hop and rap are " Payback Karma " for segregation then we got the short end of the stick for sure......they are listening to Martha and The Vandellas.....I got Jay - Z and Lil' Wayne???.....What Did I do to deserve that???

Remember my brothers and sisters and I used to go to these performances a lot. It was segregated but at that age we didn't know why (nor cared). We only knew we got to see eight to nine acts at each concert. I imagine if things were integrated in those days these performers could've filled Madison Square Garden, the Hollywood Palladium or larger venues. My younger brother jokes that Hip Hop and Rap are "Payback Karma" for those days. May be.

@NewOrleansboii Hear that piano? I guess they had no right to use it, since the modern piano was invented by an Italian. And the saxophones? Belgian.
There's one thing that unifies all races, cultures, and creeds: knuckle-dragging morons like you that halt progress for the rest of us.

it was the mid-1960s, segregation was still quite prevelent unfortunately. oftentimes white venues would hve black acts but the audience and stage dancers would all be white. thank God things are changing
