The Blue Cabin - Images of the 70's

My father acquired the cabin in 1969, and in the years following, when he was under so much pressure in his political career, the place assumed great importance. For him the island meant time with family and no doubt recharging the batteries. Some of my happiest memories are of summer days on Islandmore as a teenager.
My thanks to Dave Grusin and UMG: the soundtrack is from Robert Redford's The Milagro Beanfield War.

Great video, brings back childhood memories of Ringhaddy. Lived on board Joanna Mary and then in a farmhouse overlooking The Cabin. Thanks for the rescue from Garfield Brown's Lightening that John Scott and I thought we could sail ! Looking forward to the book arriving. SC
