MHR Beta Ark 70cc vs Yamaha Mio 180cc

it's just a friendly race against a Yamaha Mio scooter with a 180cc engine & lots of modifications, it's also been stripped naked & the rider is small (40kgs)for weight reduction.

as for the Ark it's still got full fairings sans the stock wiring harness, lights, as for the engine;

as for the rider, it's me & i weight a hefty 65kgs but i still won the race, i caught him at the 300m mark, i thought i was going to lose but the high revving 70cc 2stroke proved more powerful.

imagine if somebody lighter than me rode this scooter.

hey John, i think you're going to have your hands full with this scooter, buy yourself some gear there in the US, it's for your own good.

hehehe kumalat ako kasi langis ginamit sa goma ng ikinabit sa mags, akala ko ko nalinis ko na lahat pero may natira pa pala sa gilid, pagdating ko sa kurbada bigla na lang kumalas yung rear tire, pati tuhod ko tuklap ang balat.

the 70cc malossi powered beta arc is a 2stroke motor in which it would pull more power easier than a 4stroke engine.... 70cc vs 180cc is really has a big gap in terms of cc's but come to think of it or analyze the 2stroke power vs 4stroke power... accelaration wise 2stroke is much more powerful, 4stroke engine would add power when its already heated up.... hope this would help...

I don't understand. How can a 70cc beat a 180cc? I don't know much so this is a serious question although it might sound like a joke. That means a 50cc honda cub can beat a 150cc mio? I'm a bit confused. Could you give me a brief explanation please? Thanks!
