Crazy and Insanity are legal terms, referring to people who are a danger to themselves and others though lack of self control. While Brian did indeed "go crazy" during the 70's, with signs showing after 1967, the term no longer applies to him today, which is the claim that you made.

he is heavily medicated and is clearly missing a screw if you watch him in an interview or on stage. for god sakes, the MASTER of melody who wrote so many beautiful songs on the piano has his piano unplugged on stage now! so don't feed me this shit that he is fine

Some mild anti depressants (his current drug supplement) is not heavily medicated, and Brian simply has an eccentric personality, has always had one, and always will have one. In no way does that mean any sort of craziness. Now, if he started threatening to kill the audience, then you'd have a point.

I think he uses the piano as a sort of security blanket up on stage. Something to fiddle with, touch or perhaps play. I have to believe it IS plugged in. But who cares. He can still carry a tune and is in possession of all faculties. Sure he maybe a little fried but he paid his price to play. Most genius' have mental/emotional problems, like depression and anxiety; They are not normal, garden variety folk. Thats how they create what they create. They feel more--xtra sensitivity

mental illness is a psychological or behavioral pattern that occurs in an individual. anxiety can certainly be applied to this definition. i myself had a period of panic disorder and know first hand that it develops into a pattern so you don't know shit

Please. I've had panic attacks as well. Many people do throughout their lives, due to other causes then mental illness. In that case, at that time, Brian was suffering from overwork at the time, which triggered the attack. The same can be said for the SMiLE sessions, which did indeed lead to mental illness. Panic disorder is not the same thing as a single attack, it's a recurring series of attacks, which was not the same for Brian's case, as he ceased touring afterwards, without any recurrence.

Of course he had a lot of problems, namely due to the fact that he never received any sort of treatment for his illness until the mid 70's. Also, he has never been diagnosed with panic disorder, so it's a non matter anyway.
