Love this song love all Roger Miller's songs. If you like this you'll probaly like Townes Van Zandt, Woodie Guthrie, Steve Earl, Leadbelly, and John Hiatt, and Doc Mongoose also all great artists. You can hear all of their music on youtube.

There's a swedish version of this song, all though this is a great version I think the swedish version is much smoother...

In 1967, Roger scored what proved to be his last Top Ten hit with Bobby Russell's "Little Green Apples". Most people thought Roger had written it.
