This was my favorite from the letter people. I thought at the time that obstinate was a rather big word at the time. Thats how i learned the word though.
Terrific! And of course, once Miss O became an optimist, it all began to go downhill. While she may have been easier to get along with, it probably didn't do the Letter People program as a whole much good. The Letter People needed characters like Miss O (and Mr. R, and Mr. C--who could be a bit of a hothead in his own right--for that matter) to shake things up.
Ahhhhh the letter people. Such fond memories...
