Ella is a 18 month old Ragdoll cat that came to live with me a few days ago. She is still getting used to her new surroundings, and is a bit timid when taken outside to explore my backyard / garden. She doesn't have the fluffy tail usually associated with a ragdoll so I think she may be a Ragdoll cross, however she's still a lovely & affectionate cat.
Ella's body colour is quite interesting as it is white with blue points, however she also has a strong chocolate colour overlaying the blue on her back, side and tail, and then to add to the mystery she has an orange/brown colour that blends the blue & chocolote areas into the white! And then there's some lynx stripes too! That combination would make her a "tri-colour lynx without mits" however such a combination isn't officially recognised. She has maintained the white chin and white under her tail that is standard for a ragdoll.

From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ragdoll
'The Ragdoll is a cat breed with blue eyes and a distinct colorpoint coat. It is a large and muscular semi-longhair cat with a soft and silky coat. Developed by American breeder Ann Baker, it is best known for its docile and placid temperament and affectionate nature. The name "Ragdoll" is derived from the tendency of individuals from the original breeding stock to go limp and relaxed when picked up. '
The audio track is an original composition of mine, inspired by Ella's original owner :-)
Cool video with ninja music as well. I have a ragdoll cat who goes outside under supervision, because he jumps the fence and ragdoll's have no self defence. I wonder if your cat is a hopeless hunter like mine? Cute cat, she would be three by now.

Ella is 2 1/2 yrs old, and also loves to jump the fence - it's now almost a game where she jumps over and I go around the front where she'll be waiting for me. We then spend 30-60 minutes exploring the world. Ella has a harness and leash for when we go to the park, etc.
Ella has managed to catch one bird. She had no idea what to do with it and we released it unharmed. Ella is a very good bug hunter :-)

they 'r so cute.
but i have a question: can they go outside because much people can take your ragdoll easily from you?

Ella loves being outdoors however she has almost no common sense so needs to be supervised. I take her for daily walks on a lead, quite often to the local park, and we have lots of fun playing on the swings or just exploring around the trees and flowers.
Unfortunately some people do steal Ragdolls, so keeping them indoors or under close supervision when outside is the best solution.
