A Beverly Hills Christmas from Nov 1987. Jimmy Stewart & Lucille Ball read the story of Christmas. According to The Lucy Book by Geoffrey Mark Fidelman: "Lucille does this as a favor to long-time friend and Beverly Hills neighbor James Stewart Appearing in a slacks outfit that she wore as far back as 1967 on The Lucy Show, this is the only religious broadcast Ball is ossociated with in her long television career. Lucille reads from the Bible."

  • I got chills. You won't see any of today's Hollywood stars doing that. Jesus is the reason for the season. And the cross is the reason for Christmas.

  • People like George Burns, Jimmy Stewart and Lucille Ball made a difference in Hollywood and to those that knew them. Their gift was perhaps their most powerful one.

There is nothing today that compares with these individuals. Instead of cherishing what these people gave to us, we consider ones like Taylor Swift to have talent when she so clearly reveals she doesn't have any.

  • Hollywood might have talented people, but there is no way they have the class and charisma that old Hollywood (with exeption of very few) had not even close, these two stars are in their late seventieth, they aged gracefuly with what God gave them and they look beautiful.

  • I don't believe in God or Jesus but I think it is a charming story and it is nice to see people enjoy this sort of thing.

  • What a lovely video, how lovely !

    Thank you for sharing !

God bless all ! xoxox nita

  • Wow. James Stewart is so amazing. I love him dearly. (As you can see from my name). And Lucille Ball is so sweet.

  • @amabilis77 No, Lucille Ball's husband Desi Arnez was Catholic; Lucille, spriritually, was a Prysbterian as was James Stewart, her friend who appears in the scene with her.

  • @oohcool Now that is correct.

  • Is lucille ball catholic????

  • i also love how lucy mesmerizes the story without ever looking down
