He was quoted as saying" these kids buy clothes I wouldn't be caught dead in. Elitism. Oh hey, Santorum s wife sucks the snotty end of black dicks. Hey is his kid still dead and stinking? Fuck that punk and how WHORE too, no offense to whores

He owns urban outfitters and he downs people who shop at his store. Nice.

i am a former long time employee of urban, and i can say that from my experience with the working politics of my particular store, this does not surprise me at all. the whole company is run more like a dictatorship, with no equal opportunity or room fo constructive improvement. every1 is constantly running around scared to death of the next higher up person, no matter what level of management they themselves are at. i guess a company is only as good as the person who runs it!

Tim Mihalsky is so TAKEI! not that there's anything wrong with that, but he doesn't acknowledge it, which i find weak.
instead he sometimes referres to his gay "brother".... weak sauce i say! WEAK!

Isn't "The GAP" owned by the Fischer family? The Fischer family are pretty god damn far from being considered liberal.

Good point about republicans and transparency

"Urban Outfitters"? We've had a Mpls camping store named that for 30 years - how did this corporation get around the existing trademark infringement?
Ooh, nice hair today Tina! I like that poof thingy. But Tim needs to snug up his tie, he looks like a slacker.

Makes sense to me.
If the corporations want to have the influence with government that they have, and government is supposed to be for the people by the people, then people deserve to know who they are supporting when being a consumer.

@refink33 I like how you dont have a point.
Hes not saying hes a repub but he has donated to one.
So basically its worthy of a question mark, is he as his donations implies?
He would not acknowledge the donations so its again worthy of a question mark to see if hes trying to hide that side of him. So they are asking, whats the deal here.
You should ask also, change the world :)

It's also my power to not give a crap. Choosing clothes over politics or religion seems idiotic. Race/gender/class? Makes sense. But just because the head guy is an ultra republican????
I'm sure I'd have a hard time shopping if I boycotted corporations like his
I'm not surprised by this at all. I was surprised to find out the Whole Foods guy is a Republican though. That's totally messed up. But it's good that they let the hipsters know where their money is going.
