Jaja Jallow with new bike - January 2012

Jaja is in 11th grade at Armitage Sr. Secondary School in Janjanbureh. She is lodging with a family in Yerro Berri Kunda, across the river from Janjanbureh (which is on McCarthy Island). Although a new bridge makes her commute less long, this bicycle will substantially improve her ability to attend school. When she graduates, the bike will be returned to St. Therese's in Fula Bantang, to be used by another student.
