  • @surfandyoga Agreed. Tim Leary was another rich elite. So was Ram Dass. So was Alan Ginsberg. On and On. Many of the Artists of that time have also become Idiots. Carlos Santana is now an Idiot PC Latino Politico. So how many can survive into the future without losing It. Not Many.

  • @xwaystranger Tim Leary is was another idiot but I'll agree with you about the music and art being fantastic.

  • @surfandyoga I'm 63. I was born in the Haight. Most people are not Artists. And certainly not great Seers. Jim Morrison transferred his shaman spirit to me at the Avalon Ballroom. I helped Tim Leary into the other side. I am not a regular person. My perceptions of the world today, come from a Seers view. Magic left our planet by 1979. Either it returns by 2012 or we will be in the Dark Ages forever. Art of Music and Vision should be leading the world as in the 1960's, not Politics.

  • @xwaystranger How do you know it was magic? How old are you? Most people who were there said it was a nightmare.

  • @xwaystranger One movie that does capture that magic is 'Norman Gunston in Haight Ashbury.' It's on You-Tube.

  • @surfandyoga There hasn't been a book or movie that really shows the 1960's/1970's. It is impossible to capture Magic. The best document is the Music and Art. The big difference was that the World was more Naive. There was Hope for a new Atlantis. Awareness came before getting Loaded. There was a community that supported innovation and altered states. You could walk Haight St. on LSD and strangers would Enhance your trip, not make fun of you. Creativity was the highest Skill.

  • @xwaystranger The best book I've ever read about this time was 'Bill Graham Presents.' He was a money hungry businessman but he came to America as a war orphan and made it. His views are interesting and often very funny.

  • @surfandyoga Agreed. Peter Coyote WAS the problem. At this time you had people who wanted a Revolution/Evolution and gave up everything to be a community. But all the time (undercover) rich elite people like Coyote pretended to be a revolutionary. Other rich elite now give him Book Deals and Movie Deals because he "one of them"..the Enemy. If the real Hippies Knew the Truth in 1967 they would have put all these Usurpers heads to the guillotine. His books are Lies, because his life is a Lie.

  • @xwaystranger I read his book. Thought it would be interesting but he's an idiot.

  • Is mountain girl now a "blue- haired garanny" !!! hoo- eeeee, still hot, their, granny
