  • "I value emotion over shredding" just fuck off, seriously. How much can you flog the dead horse that is the emotion argument. For the one thing emotion is entirely subjective and why can't blistering speed be emotional? Personally I an in awe of rusty cooleys exotic scale choices and flawless alternate picking and awe is an emotion. There is more to guitar playing than the fucking blues and b5 scale and there only a few people who can make that work and a hell of a lot of old classic rock dicks

  • So Rusty...

Where is the complete, director's cut version?

And by that I mean the 24*7 = 168 hours straight (one week) non stop version?

I'll listen to it many times for sure!

  • @samfulfordskates Plus, you can tell there is feeling here. Sure, it may not be as clear as a slow ass blues solo but look at his face. He is totally feeling it.

  • why is rusty cooley so under rated? oh yeah, because the general public thinks there is no "emotion" in playing fast because people only like what they themselves can play because they think that if they dont hear it that it doesnt exist and they are real guitarists... >:(

  • @PaDGuitars I think I now understand why you mean, thank you for your comment, peace.

  • @deathcore1239 maybe he meant shorter length, not shorter "scale".

  • @Sivels so a 25.5" and a 24.75" are actually the same? hmm. . . i had no idea that every ruler, tape measure and anything else that can make some sort of measurement was wrong.

  • @PaDGuitars There's no such thing as a shorter scale. Heard of equal temperament? lol

  • @Sivels It's multi-scale fretboard. He plays an 8 string with low B, high A. He says that because the high A is such a high-tension string, he needs a shorter scale, otherwise it'll snap too regularly.

  • plague, tuning and intonation are the same thing xD

  • @Plague413 I guess I've figured it out... You tilt the nut as well as the saddle for more ergonomic playing.

  • @Sivels Fanned frets bro. They actually help the guitar maintain its tuning and intonation better than typical frets
