i just saw the clip u its says 24 core and now this one 12 core so Istanbul is 24 core or 12? can anyone explain and when it going to be out

well this is another clip and another machine.

2000 Series Opterons allways come in pairs (2x).
8000 Series Opterons usually come in double pairs (4x) or even the doube of the double (8x)

This video shows 2000 (2x) Series Shanghai (4x) versus 2000 (2x) Series Istanbul (6x)

So it's 8 core versus 12 core.

I guess the other video was on the 8000 series. So its 4 x 6 = 24
