http://myjewishhome.com How to make and sew a baby's sleeping bag Grobag blanket to ensure safe napping for your baby. This beautiful and inexpensive craft requires only basic sewing skills and your favorite fabrics.

The things you'll need to make a baby sleeping bag:
Soft Fabric
Your Baby's Outfit
Ribbon
Scissors
needle and Thread

Step 1 at 01:33 : Fold your fabric in half and lay your baby's outfit on top. With a pen, trace around the outfit, give yourself half an inch or so around and don't come in at the legs, just the arms and neck.

Step 2 at 01:59. Cut around the trace with a sharp pair of scissors.

Step 3 at 02:52 : Create a straight stitch all the way around excluding the collar and arm holes.

Step 4 03:50 : Cut a straight line down from the centre half way down the sleeping bag. This is how you get your baby in and out.

Step 5 04:03 : Turn it inside out. To decorate the sleeping bag, stitch ribbon along the length of the slit you made in the centre.

Step 6 06:08 Place your baby inside of the sleeping bag and let them sleep safely. Or as in the case of my baby laugh and smile!
