(1) This boy IS ALREADY INSURED under the SCHIP program. That's how he got the help he needed! No one denies this!

(2) Under Bushes proposal, SCHIP will be EXPANDED--just not as much as the Dems want. So under Bush, this boy will STILL BE INSURED--and even more kids will be!

The facts are public for anyone to check.

The situation speaks for itself. I can see pretty well, a little brain damaged boy whose family wants insurance to cover him; they can't buy insurance due to his condition, and couldn't afford it if it was available. So, you can prance about with semantic arguments. All I see is an uninsured 12 year old -- who should be insured. Mitch McConnell did lie--his aide told him the day before this interview he had sent an email. Actually, as time goes on we find out more about McConnell's involvement in smearing this 12-yr. old boy. No one in America with this kid's injuries can get insurance! Both he and his sister suffered traumatic brain injury and that is why they go to special schools now.
