yeah yeahh i know what you mean. too many aircraft on the runway, we came like 1 hour early because of 135mph tail wind and going at a ground speed of 732mph!! lol

did u have to taxi round london for a bit? when i came back from america we were 1 hour early so we went round in circles over london for 20 mins!

If you mean fly around London (not taxi) then you were put on a hold not because you were early but because the airport runway is taken by other aircraft or there is no space for your aircraft. It happens quite alot at heathrow because it's so busy.
