A Sandpoint couple is speaking out against Idaho's Department of Health and Welfare's adoption policy after their request to adopt the foster son they've raised since birth was denied.
I know what you are going through, my husband and I experienced the same with the department of Health and welfare in Pocatello Idaho. We were kinship foster parenting a nephew and niece. The same reason neglection to the kids from mom. My brother in law was unable to do anything for his kids because he got deported to Mexico. My husband and I opened our hearts to these kids, plus opened our home to these two beautiful kids. The system gave us 3 days, came and took them away, placed elsewhere.
They system is BS... me and my son were once victims of the system.. I didn't stop fighting and neither should they.. but the important thing is to shed light on the problems and discuss reform.
