loving angels instead ♥

hiya everyone, im so sorry i havent posted a video in so long, i have been so busy with looking after may and sorting out stuff at school.
i really want to thank you all SO much, you have no idea how lovely its been having such nice comments and everyone support, sorry about now getting round to replying to them all but thank you so much!

may has just finished her 5 weeks of box rest and she has now moved out into a little paddock and has to be walked in hand for 15 minutes twice a day.
the vet is amazed at how well she is doing considering the extent of damage and how ill she was.
today i get to ride her for the first time in over 5 weeks!! i cannot wait, so excited, its only 15 minutes of just walking, but at least its a start!!
once she starts working its crucial to keep her at a set fitness and her muscles strong because of the Osteochondrosis that they have discovered, if i don't then she will deteriorate a lot more.

the song from the video was on the radio while i was driving up too see her after finding out about her OCD and the fact she only had a limited time left, i have never been so devastated in my life, may means the world to me and although i knew that like any horse i would loose her eventually the fact they put a time limit on it was just the worse feeling in the world.

she has finished the course of weekly injections to stabilize her condition, she now has to have them every month but we wont know how well they are working until she begins work, so fingers crossed they help, and we an make the most of possibly our last year together

I have been through something similar, and know exactly how shattering it is to know that the one thing you love is at risk of being gone forever...I give you the absolute best wishes with May and will pray for you and her!<3,.
