The Lindsay performance is the I've been used to with op130.

and yeah i have to agree that there are parts where the tempo could be a bit slower, but it is the best interpretation i heard, even though i don't especially like how it begins but the version i found dose not have a birliant neither.

Slower?? No and never! If it should be a Beethoven, so it has to be fast! At the first counterpoint at 0.56 is not enough power. I know that this piece is very difficould to play, so every interpretation must be a masterpiece, but a little faster, and more power (more Beethoven ^^) and it would be gorgeous.

@90Einstein I have a different one (by same ensemble) that I think is about perfect. This is the second Beethoven cycle they recorded. So, it's like "What are they going to just play it perfect again?"

Don't feel that you have to say sorry for the sound quality. It's very enjoyable. Every voice can be heard clearly!

Too slow in the intro and opening section.

@musicalidea To me it's not about fast or slow. I often wish they would play a lot of songs slower to savor it. It's about nuance (I'm just saying).
