Yes, and let me clarify that I'm not saying that it *doesn't* mention people who "didn't have all that stuff." I just think you could play a bit more with it, to highlight the contrast between the generations. That's just my idea--highlight it, make it more obvious to give it cross-generational appeal. Also, I said it uses the F word, but maybe it's "Fuzz" or something else. I didn't catch all the lyrics, but it's a strong song, and I can tell the poetry/wordcraft is very good.

This song would have more mass appeal if you took out the F word and perhaps added a section about younger people who grew up with technology and take it for granted (in contrast with you who didn't have all that stuff when you were younger). But most people can relate to getting challenged by new technology, or getting upset when technology is broken. I was trying to find a song for someone whose cell phone died when I found this.
