This version looks and sounds great!

msx sounds more like sega genesis mixed with the snes

Does this version still have the same bugs as the NES? Like how most stat change magic does nothing or the opisite of what it's suposed to and the INT stat is useless?
-
Were the bugs present in the NES version (stuff like various stats not having any effect in battle, certain spells never working, etc) fixed here?

This is not MSX but MSX2 and yes, that one is superior to the NES! LOL!!!. Apart from the hardware scrolling, NES has nothing on the machine, in every aspect, but that issue was solved from MSX2+ generation and up. Sorry 'bout that.

o_O ...The heck? It's FF 1, but it sounds like some awesome cross between NES and SNES (even looks like it a bit, too)... Anyone wanna sell me an MSX 2? I actually have this game (bought it from Adol at Digital Press some years ago), but I never did get a chance to get the system...

@smuckfuzzer MSX has it's limitations when it comes to moving screen.
How ever it ain't as bad as it could be. Sure it looks smoother on NES but this ain't as bad as it could be for BASIC operating system based computer.
Anyways, compared to NES version, in MSX version battles are much much more fast paced which'll more than likely make this game more enjoyable.
