Going Postal coming to Sky1 and Sky1 HD May 30

Going Postal is the story of arch-swindler Moist Von Lipwig and the beautiful, vengeful Adora Belle Dearheart. A life long travelling con-artist, Lipwigs crimes finally catch up with him in the town of Ankh-Morpork. About to face death by hanging, Lord Vetinari spares Lipwig, seeing in him the perfect man for the role of Postmaster in the decrepit Ankh-Morpork post office. Faced with an almost impossible task, and making an immediate enemy of bloodthirsty tyrant Reacher Gilt, owner of the Post Office's rival, the money-hungry Grand Trunk Clacks communication monopoly, Lipwigs first instinct is to run. That is until he meets the spellbinding Adora. Captivated by her , Lipwig will try anything to win her affectionslittle knowing the part he has played in her familys downfall. Is their romance forever doomed?

An adventure story filled with romance and revenge, Going Postal features an all star British cast that includes Richard Coyle (Prince of Persia, Coupling) as Moist Von Lipwig, David Suchet (Agatha Christies Poirot) as Reacher Gilt, Charles Dance (Gosford Park, Bleak House) as Lord Vetinari, and Claire Foy (Little Dorrit) as Adora Belle Dearheart. Joining them are Steve Pemberton (The League of Gentlemen, Psychoville) as Drumknott, Andrew Sachs (Fawlty Towers) as Groat, Ian Bonar as Stanley, Timothy West (Bleak House, Brass) as Ridcully and Tamsin Greig (Green Wing, Black Books) as Miss Cripslock.

  • That looks FANTASTIC, not entirely sure about Angua, but the rest of it has me itching for it to be shown on Australian TV.
