@Indecom Well your mod made me want to add the idle animations to my weapons. Yes, I'm making a Q2-Doom mod too, however it's deathmatch-oriented, that's why I had to find out the actual damage formulas. However my weapons aren't looking as cool as yours LOL.
And yes, I agree with you: Quake 2 Doom mods suck (with major respect haha)

Flickering shadows and animations.

@slaxor Ah, well I ant fix those because they aren't glitches. The shadows look like that because of the low polycount of the models, and the animations are the same way in quake 2, it's an unfixable issue related to the model format and it's called swimming. Nothing I can do man.

@Indecom Yeah? I'd say you just need to re-rip everything. I don't remember animations being that choppy in Q2. Same goes for the shadows.

@slaxor Well first of all, there were no shadows in q2, i added those using a raytracing 3d renderer. That's nothing that i can fix because thats how the program sees the shadows. Secondly, i cant make the animations any smoother because i've ripped every frame of animation from these weapons. The only thing missing is interpolation which is impossible with sprites. Like i've already said, it's nothing i can fix. If you dont like it, then dont play it. I'm not forcing it down your throat.
