forget the other half of the amendment? - it's pretty clear - the right of --the people (that would be everyone)-- to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed - the phrase taken as a whole implies that the people regulate (restrain ) the militia. and "the security of a --free-- state" being a result of a well (restrained) militia consider the times the authors of the constitution had just seen. - the people had to fight the king's militia.

I'm in Hawaii and the State already makes you register your guns and have a owners permit which has to be renewed annually. The medical records are being turned over to the state. Trust me, they want to do this nation wide!! Fight back while you can.

Well, that's what I mean - what lines? The world doesn't work like that any more. There are no longer lines which mark borders, surely you know that. Ever been to a McDonalds in Asia? That's good ol' ma and pa apple pie America right there? A sleeper cell in Florida? That's Afghanistan baby. The world is made up of a lot of simultaneous, diffuse and contradictory layers, all at once and all "right". You and your "them and us" mentality only shows your backwoods ignorance.
