Richard Widmark stars in this WW 2 story about the US Navy's underwater demolitions and operations units, the frog men. Widmark plays an officer who becomes the new commander of one of these units, and he quickly makes enemies by being harsh and strict, completely unlike his predecessor. Dana Andrews, Jeffrey Hunter, Warren Stevens, Gary Merrill and Robert Wagner costar.

@GrandeurFrancaise don't call the Decima MAS Navy seals- SEALs is a specific unit frogmen is the generic term.

The men of Decima MAs were able to sink 2 heavy Uk iron-battleships in the Alessandria arbour, The Valliant and Quen Elizabeth.
The Decima MAS navy seal were able to sink an heavy Russian iron-battleships in the 1955 the Novorossijsk with more than 600 rusian sailors death

HOOYAH! my uncle was in this movie! (grandfathers brother) he was a real frogman helped for the movie. Im going into BUDs training soon, I HAVE TO MAKE IT, i know i will!!!!
