http://www.dermtv.com Most people include moisturizer in their skin care regimens, but that isn't always necessary. Dr. Schultz will explain when it does and doesn't make sense to use a moisturizer.

  • is nivea a good moisturizer?

  • @blabliful Nivea is a good moisturizer for many people.

  • hi Doc.. is it true that moisturizers can reduce skin wrinkles??

  • @SAROOONA77 Moisturizers can reduce the appearance of skin wrinkles because when moisture enters the skin it causes a temporary slight swelling which thereby temporarily decreases the appearance of the wrinkles.

  • what moisturizer do you recommend?

  • @piliaz: if you visit the dermtv website and search for this episode, you'll see a related products section below the video in which there are some moisturizers. I would post links here but YouTube doesn't allow me to do so.

  • Newsflash: You can have oily AND dehydrated skin at the same time. He is talking about loss of water, not necessarily oil. It is very easy to get dehydrated skin so moisturizer is just good insurance.

  • @jjjjjokerface right smarty IF YOU DON?T NEED IT not that oily skins don't need a moisturizer! you stupid rude moron.

  • @ilargitxo2 Your skin's oil is a natural moisturizer. Did you even watch the video?

  • @ilargitxo2 just like what dr. schultz said "if you dont need it, dont use it" got it

  • they say that even oily skin needs a moisturiser??? hmm, if you ask me, i would answer a BIG NO. its hot in our country and even if i dont moisturise at night, i always wake up the next day with a pool of oil in my T-zone even if im in an airconditioned room.

  • I have very oily skin. I've heard that I should still moisturize because essentially, my face is creating excess oil to prevent dryness and using a moisturizer will help prevent my face from creating that excess oil. Is that true?
