Pepe for Adoption 2

Pepe is making great progress.Pepe has not allowed herself to be caged in almost three years, or handled for at past 10 years, and probably longer.Pepe is a 40 year old Double Yellow Headed Amazon. She has lived with same family since 1977. She was a wild capture from Mexico and roamed the town freely as a pet for several years. Her B/G Macaw friend came across an accident that took its life, and in 1977 Pepito was allowed to move to California. yes she will be for adoption through our volunteer program. A period of time that is required to bond and learn to care for the bird. She will not be ready to leave here until approx spring if she gets a sponsor in the near future.

Lovies actually mean pets to this bird. kisses mean touching you from her, maybe preening. her old rules don't seem to apply now. Pepe wants new rules.
