I have to interpret this for school. This was my practice run. I think it sucks royally. It has so many plays on words. Do any of you have any advice? I can't sign it English so any hints are welcomed. My professor also encourages playing with sings too since it's for Theatrical interpreting. I know I move too much already and I need to tame that down a little. I think that's because I'm suffering from health problems partially so I'll work on that for sure.
The music used in this song was produced by Daughtry and all credit for this music goes to him. I by no means claim any ownership of the song, lyrics or creation of this song. I have only interpreted Life After You by Daughtry into American Sign Language for the Deaf/HOH community and for personal benefit and the benefit of others..
At least when u say "ASL" It's not complete English. I am just learning ASL so to me it looks FANTASTIC!

I love your expressiveness and how you get into the signs. A suggestion with interpreting music is to sit down with the lyrics to figure out what the artist is trying to say. Take THAT message and figure out how to put it into ASL. After that you can add some artistic flair to make it match up to the music. It's okay if it doesn't match the lyrics because you're working in two different languages; it's not supposed to! Very nice job, and very good for an interpreting student.
