it would have been slower as awd, adds more weight, and takes power power to spin all 4 wheels instead of just two.

yes but the launch would be unmistakable! traction would never be an issue and if tuned right which yours obviously is nothing would touch that car ever

the launch is unmistakable as you say now. No problem with the launch. These are engineers that worked on the car, they would have done AWD if it was better. In this case no RWD is better.
