Pacey loses it at the prom..Joey is crushed

Okay so I have a love/hate thing with Promicide. On the one hand I love that Pacey finally lets out all of his frustrations (and looks so hot doing it) and tells Joey how is feeling, but on the other hand he was so wrong to do it in the middle of the dance floor. Not many girls would ever forgive such humiliation.

And I totally believe that Joey never did completely forgive him until the end of the show. A part of her always remembered how badly he hurt her, and it colored how she saw him. Although, I 100 percent believe that if Pacey had at any time during the end of season 4 asked Joey to take him back, she would have without hesitation. (Check out Separation Anxiety for proof.)

Onto the Ooompa Loompa (lol) I hated how he swooped in to Joey's rescue. Talk about chasing sloppy seconds...he totally ignored his date, Gretchen.

But back to Pacey...I hold a very unpopular opinion, but I think he was completely justified in his rant. It had been a tough year for him...doing double duty at school, not getting into college, still trying to be the man he believed Joey deserved (and wanted..aka Dawson), oh and the little knowledge about the LIE.

Yep, Joey Potter crushed him when she lied to Dawson about their night at the ski lodge. Imagine one of the best nights of your life as a couple, totally downplayed and dismissed by the woman you love. So sad. I just want to give Pacey a hug in that scene. Where is Andie when you need her?

I love this scene so much, this is amazing. I always hated P/J together here's the proof of Pacey feeling miserable because of Joey. I hate her, cause she wasn't there for him in a way like Andie was, for instance. With Andie, Pacey became the man he always wanted to be, with Joey... Well you get the picture. He just couldn't take it anymore, and I totally understand why. I wish they've never brought these two back together. Joey NEVER deserved Pacey's love. The writers screwed this thing up.

@JulietK003 I have struggled with Joey Potter issues myself. But I personally don't think that Andie was the one for Pacey. Pacey almost had to be someone else to fit into Andie's view of model boyfriend. I am not sure how long they would have lasted even without her mental break and cheating. The main reason I wanted Joey with Pacey so much was because he loved her so much and wanted her. I may not have liked her that much, but Pacey thought the world of her. So I wanted "true love" for him

It must be said, those idiots over at Fringe should watch this video and realize that Josh can bring the emotions instead of having him always DOWNPLAY his emotions on that crappy show fringe.

@MayBrainLee1 Number one problem with season 3 Fringe...the two dimensions...and in one dimension no Josh. So we only get him every other week. I swear that is why ratings declined. That dull woman that plays Olivia cannot carry the show. They need to focus more on Josh.

Impressive and amazing acting there. Pacey is so believable so good in this scene it's amazing. And btw scenes like these are what made dawson creek so unique, some amazing writing and drama could be created simply. No need for "you cheated on me", "i'm pregnant turns out you're not the father" bla bla bla to create good drama. Just genuine emotions coming out of good actors. I miss that.

Pacey had always that sort of distrust. He always had that in the back of his head, that he couldn't compete with Dawson. That she would never love him as much as she did Dawson.

And Pacey was right. Any relationship he would have had with Joey would be clouded by Dawson lurking in hhe background.

He never would have spoken to Andie like he did to Joey. Pacey had to much respect for Andie.

@autumnmist927 I think you need to rewatch that season. Joey Treated him like dirt with her holier than thou attitude. Besides she ran to Dawson behind his back every chance she got. Andie cheating? If you think about it; it is a bit more complex than that. Andie cheating had nothing to do with sex nor love, but more toward fear and lonliness. Pacey soared with Andie and crashed and burned with Joey. Yeah she deserved it.

Andie cheated on pacey......pacey was upset at himself, this is why he blew up, he never thought he was good enough, this has nothing to do with joey....joey just happens to be the person he unloads on, he's felt worthless for a long time and that has alot to do with his family.

Honestly Joey never deserved Pacey he was way too good for her and this season was my least favorite because of Joey and Pacey's relationship, I too noticed that throughout this season Joey became controlling over Pacey and treated him like a charity project, that's not a healthy relationship

God I wish I could blow up like this sometimes. But when I get that heated and I really want to give it to the person making me feel that way....I can't even think of a word to say. Great Job of acting from Joshua...something tells me he was getting out a little emotion he didn't get out when those two broke up in real life.
