Pokemon Platinum Walkthrough Part 86 Azelf in a Pokeball

You should pretty much follow the same tactics as Uxie here. I don't have the time to type out a description, but things are pretty much the same as Uxie. Watch part 85 (read description too) and you should be fine with Azelf using the same tactics.
