  • If you can find real cotton candy sugar, that would have the same effect as the salt, but taste a whole lot better!

  • @whalewatcher321 kosher salt is muck thicker than sugar and is less uniformly shaped.

  • why didn't she use sugar instead of salt? sugar would be more appropriate since it is going on a cake i feel...

  • @kdripley since its gum paste, I heard that it can be kept for actually a LONG time while properly kept (good room conditions, not too hot). For the egg whites, im not sure if anything will happen, but you can always use water. Water makes an okay adhesive, i also know water and a tad bit of flour too!
