Feathering the Clutch (How to Go Fast from a Stop) - 250 Ninja 6

Describing feathering the clutch. I do it all the time.

Is it hard on the clutch? Well you might have to change your clutch in 5 years instead of 7, so it makes a difference.....but not much.

And the guy talking about the "M13 start" just meant he did an aggressive feather the clutch start. I took it as a compliment.

Does this work in a car?

It's not hard on your bike but yeah it will wear down the clutch pad any time the clutch and the flywheel are going two different speeds your slowly wearing it down. Therefore, leaving it half engaged isn't that good.

@kansa1melb its only bad for the clutch, in a bike its not so bad because its multi plated wet clutch, but if you did this in a car alot it would eventually just ruin the clutch plate
