I need help i have a KWorld usb atsc ub435-q tv tunner, and when i plug it in to my laptop and run WMC i do the set up but it does no give me a satellite option only cable tv or antena tv. i have direct tv. so could it be the tv tuner or WMC.
PLEASE HELP ME I HAVE BEEN PLANNING TO DO THIS FOREVER AND JUST BOUGHT A TUNER NOW IT DOES NOT WORK HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

how woulld i set it up with the set top box for time warner cable???and why is my tv quality bad?

it takes forever to scan the channels. it recognizes my cable and everything. after like 30 minutes of scanning. it just says no channels were found. its weird

i have a question ...... u think this will work in jamaica because it ask for a zip and in jamaica we dont use zip code u think its a waste of monwy or what?

I have a problem with my MC.
I set up my tv tuner to DVB-T Antenna, and now it won't allow me to change or re-configure it to DVB-T Cable, I tried removing MC and re-adding it. Also, my media center doesn't do the part where it examines the tuner.

So are able to buy ANY USB TV tuner and set it up through windows media center to set it all up even if the TV tuner came with its own disk or there is more to it?

The disk most likely contains drivers. You probably don't want anything else from it. Plug in your tuner and see if Windows recognizes it. If it does, you should be all set. If Windows can't find the drivers, that's when you'll want to use the disk to get them installed. After that, you should be able to walk through the TV setup in MCE.
