I'm Mexican American and I'm just telling the truth. If you don't believe me look it up. You have an internet connection right? If you love Gandhi so much you should have books on his life and things of that nature, right? Read into his life, learn about who he really is and stop being blinded by how great everyone makes him out to be.
In all fairness, at the time that Gandhi was alive it was (for lack of a better word) "normal" to be racist.
granted he may hav been racist (i heard about it not sure if its true) never the less man his peaceful protests insipred the great dr. king to take a stand against racism and even he respects him.
Do you have any proof that Gandhi "openly stated that Indians were a far superior race and that they shouldn't be confused for blacks" with his actual quotes to back up your false claim?! The truth is that Gandhi fought against the apartheid British regime in South Africa that would discriminate against Indians and Blacks and later he fought against the oppressive British Empire in the Indian subcontinent! And even former President of South Africa Nelson Mandela is a follower of Gandhi!
From an article in his South African newspaper called INDIAN OPINION
"Ours is one continued struggle against degradation sought to be inflicted upon us by the European, who desire to degrade us to the level of the raw Kaffir, whose occupation is hunting and whose sole ambition is to collect a certain number of cattle to buy a wife with, and then pass his life in indolence and nakedness." -Collected Works II p. 74
Your already on the internet look it up. He wanted to end oppression for Indians.

It's funny how I kept getting thumbs down on my comments and once I gave a quote they stopped.
