Keeshonds in a car

This was after the rabbit chasing.They never catch any of course,but theres fun to be had at the burrow entrance.We are going to have to be careful,I saw hares in a field near our house this morning,and its illegal to CHASE hares now......how are my dogs supposed to tell the difference between a rabbit and a hare???

@Kayy2xo I`m in the UK and all my girls are spayed! It might be best to research your dogs health ,and any bitch that might be used with him,through their pedigrees and blood check them for hyperparathyroidism.Interbreed­ing and careless breeding tends to give pedigrees health problems .We had a tv program over here that portrayed pedigrees in a very bad light,so bad,that the BBC stopped showing the Crufts Dog Show ,which it normally gave good viewing every year.Best wishes , hugs from my kees.

escavi,poms being just the smaller version of the kees,I have thought often of having one,or maybe a klein or a mittel spitz.They are all smart dogs aren`t they?A friend of mine has poms,they are adorable.

aw,thanks spark.They aren`t always cute!I have another old keeshond,he was 14 in February ,he just hadn`t been put back in the car,my husband was carrying him from the field.

My Kees and I live in the southwest desert of Aridzone,USA. Dinah is much better off out here than when we lived back east. It's the HUMIDITY that makes the difference. And their thick coat actually helps them control their body temperature better. I'd advise against shaving your dog. It only hurts their feelings. They KNOW when they look foolish. Kees are 'people' dogs. Please don't get one unless they can have lots of human companionship. Other dogs help - but they crave people.
