  • @Ryan44567 Friend there are many others to look forward to.We do care more about Nobel Prize winners,Field Medalists,Business leaders than Maulavis or Priests.

Religion can only give an assertion about what science hasn't been able to explain. So religion will become less and less relevant as science makes progress.Unfortunately we are letting many bright young minds ,who could've contributed heavily to science, to be clouded by religious superstitions by parents or society.

  • Fucking irreplaceable.

..Justifies State Policy to such a frightening degree is simply farce. That assertion alone 'Justifies' stances of aggression against Iran, North Korea and it goes without saying, Iraq - the Country 'Hitch' pretends to care so so deeply, while 'forgetting' to ever discuss Casualty figures or *anything* on the negative side of the invasion - read his articles, there's nothing.

Anyways, I really should have PM'd all this but screw it.

  • @themediocrenontheist

It's pretty obvious that 'The Hitch' was lying for his paycheque, at least undisputably in this particular scenario. You *must* concede on that point..

Failing that, find me a damn reference to this mythical delegation - one - anywhere! From what I gather, 'Hitch' makes himself out to be quite the expert on Global Politics and on the Middle-East in particular - which he claims to care so much about. So for him to ''Accidentally'' make a claim like this that..

  • @BelfastAtheist

..And the wouldn't have found out''

I'm glad I had to quote, because after this particular fantasy ends 'The Hitch' delves further into State propaganda with his assertion (3:01-3:12) that the remnants of Mesopotamia's apocalyptic (Though hypothetical) WMD programme were buried in a Nuclear Scientists back-garden.

Anyways, I can't even find a REFERENCE to the hypothetical Pyongyang Delegation, the stuff about 'The Bomb in my Back garden' is rubbish too..

  • @themediocrenontheist

I thought you said you watched the first 15 Minutes or some such? He makes the claim 2 Minutes and 43 Seconds in:

''..Or from North Korea, which it was planning to do - it was engaged in negotiations with North Korea that we didn't know it at the time - it would have helped if we had known. As late as March 2003 Saddam's people were meeting Kim Jung Il's people to buy the Missiles off the shelf from the production line, we didn't know that, the inspectors didn't know..

  • @Q8379 I meant your logic, but that's true as well.

  • Saying "Not to interupt you" when you interupt someone just makes you look a dick.

However good at talking Hitchens may have been, he was an uncompromising arse

  • @WormYourHonor64 Of course. There is no stronger being or force than Hitchens.

  • @Q8379 Stronger than religion.

  • 1. Hitchens has a bad ass beard

    Thus

    2. Hitchens is right

    The logic is irrefutable

  • @MrBuffaloGrill No dude, didn't have a chance to read that book.My institute library which is supposed to be one of the biggest libraries in Asia doesn't have it.Will check if there's an e-version.

Btw I read some of your comments. What is the language that you use apart from English?
