  • the video was recorded in 1989. The Kevin Woods recorded in it was my late uncle.

  • The plot thickens!

I quote from an article taken from the Dundalk Democrat newspaper, written just a few months ago -

"Kevin Woods, who was chairman of the Carlingford Tourism Association at the time, held a Leprechaun Hunt on Easter Sunday, 1989 which attracted 4,000 visitors to the region.

Now, he is planning an anniversary, which he hopes will attract a larger crowd to the area and is hoping that this time, someone finds the real deal."

    Strange?! Care to explain?

  • This to me is either a very obviously, miss print by them or mis- understanding.

You are obviously not very well up in the the devilment of Leprechauns which can effect such things. Hall Hall Hallaluia brother

  • You better watch what you say. You will be constipated from the day of the Leprechaun Hunt -the 21st March 2010 for a hole week. Tough shit.

  • Ohhhh... hocus pocus?

The fact that you're spouting this nonsense across the airwaves has nothing to do with your position on a tourist board? eh? Perhaps you're looking for a few gullible tourists to come to your area?

  • Dear Reelaiah I am not a member of any tourism board. If I never saw a tourist it wouldn't bother me.

I am aware though that the Leprechauns on the Cooley mountains are members of the Free Presbyterian Church.

They meet every Sunday on the mountain close to the wishing well ,for Sunday service.

  • To Reelaiah....get a life.....it's only a laugh, good fun....and thousands of euro was raised for charity! I was there and was a great family day out.

  • My granny says she saw one and also one of my aunts...we're from Louth also

  • Dear Kevin, I am not a member of any Free Presbyterian Church. If I never saw a Free Presbyterian it wouldn't bother me!

I am aware though that there is a striking coincidence that your alias is 'kevinwoods2009' and there is also a 'Kevin Woods' of Carlingford Tourism Association interviewed in the video (at 3.33)! Strange?! Maybe you can clarify why this is so?

  • It isnt..My entire family is from my Ireland..my Nana was actually from Carlingford County..so dont diss something because you done believe in it!
