This Wonderous Night - Hudson High School Christmas Choir Concert 2008

(PLEASE READ)

This is our holiday choir concert that was performed at my school on December 15th, 2008. 19 pieces of music were performed and we had two performances that night. We had 5 mass pieces (which means all the choirs sang together) and the rest were separate choir pieces or performances by the professional orchestra and bell ringers that were hired for the concert.

There are 5 different choirs at my school. Chamber choir(mix of Senior and junior men and women), Chantuese (all senior and junior women, also the choir I'm in this year), Concert choir(mix of men and women of any grade, except freshmen women), Swing choir (mix of men and women of grades 10-12, they do songs that include dancing), and Bel Canto (freshman women only). We have a lot of people in our choirs so we were spread out all over the auditorium during our mass pieces.

Unfortunately, the battery had run out before it could get to the last song. It was our performance of "O Holy Night". It was my favorite mass piece from this year. Once I get the CD of the concert, I'm planning on making a video with that song.

I had to split this up into two videos because of the length of the video and not all songs were put in them. If you would like me to put the rest up, I will do that. Also the sound might be kind of off. For some reason when I upload stuff from the video camera, the sounds becomes way off and I have to try and fix it.

Ugh we were flat on Lux! In tune but flat. A bunch of spread vowels as well. Not our best but it was still fun! :D

Awesome this concert was a lot of work but a lot of fun to I'm so mad concert choir didn't do O' Nata Lux
