This was the scene at John Kronk & Trenton streets on Detroit's far Southwest side.
Shortly after 10:00pm on May 3rd, Firefighters were dispatched to the report of a commercial building on fire. The first arriving engine company reported a vacant warehouse going throughout. Battalion chief 7 told everyone to stay out of the building because of the risk of structural collapse. One wall did indeed did collapse and the building remained dangerous.
At 11:15 pm Battalion Chief 7 began requesting relief companies to replace firefighters originally dispatched to the fire. No injuries were reported.
