I always thought that Tekken had the best 3D movement controls where you just tap up and down to sidestep and hold them to jump. They should have done that. Otherwise, I hope the next game brings back the old sidestep-and-jump-in-angles or do what tekken does, or something, not switching between analog and d-pad. Couldn't do the trigger either.

that is so true, ill play the game for fun sometimes but i just hate switching between dpad and jostick. SF4=so much easier lol

The only thing I hate about this game is that you have to either switch between the left thumbstick or the d-pad to switch between jumping and sidestepping, or hold the left trigger and use either one (can't block while holding it). I guess it makes the game more technical, but I personally hate it. Decent game though. Wish sidestepping was either on the right stick or that it gave you the option to change to the DA/Deception/Armageddon movement controls (jump forward/back, sidestep up/down).
