And we have forgotten the lessons of the past, and the people that fought and died so that we can have decent working conditions, decent wages and worker protection. Americans have bought into the Big Lie that unions are evil, propagated and spread by those on the right, and those that vote against their own best interests. Make me f***ing sick.

I guess the working class are expected to believe the hand print story because we are uneducated.
I live very close to the town with the print. There is nothing supernatural about it.
The history of labor is serious business and this video does not do it justice.

It is amazing that teachers are critical of unions. As an educator, it is embarrassing that they don't support their Teacher Association. I fear that our country is trying to squash unions and we will go back to poor work conditions without the right to fight injustice. I surely don't want to go back to what my ancestors had to deal with. It is pathetic that people fought for fair working conditions just so politicians can take it away.

i can't imagine any teacher ever saying that. We have nothing without our union.

My son asked.
Daddy why do you belong to a union?
My Teacher says thy're bad men.
And, this writer with over 100 years of union ancestry says, "Teacher you are evil. I am pulling my son or daughter out of your class."
One of Walter P. Reuther's more infamous quotes-"There is a direct correlation between the breadbox and the ballot box" In times like now it has shown this to be quite a true statement
please watch the other two videos that are a part of this project-I couldn't upload the entire piece due to bandwidth restriciton so I had to send in three sections-The piece on the triangle factory always leaves teary eyes and sniffles (my daughther picked the music) in Labory Studies courses

I would imagine that that particular teacher is now remebering this 'school project' as her budget is being slashed and her clss size will grow by 35% while her pay and benfits are either cut of will at best remain unchanged in spite of the increased workload.
