  • You are a clever guy Ben, your level of playing on all the instruments you play is most impressive, I don't play mandolin but with this split format and easy tab I am sure even I could learn Gold Rush in just one day. Well done.

  • @BanjoBen1 well, we want to steal yours! The Job is perfect for you!

  • Ben, I've been trying to be my own Mandolin teacher, at 67; years ago I played a little classical guitar and used my little finger (as classical guitarists do) a lot. I recently realized that I tend to use my little finger, when picking individual notes, rather than my ring finger, which I've noticed mandolin players using mostly. Here's my question: will my use of the little finger become a liability, or will this not matter? Thanks for your reply if you notice this comment and have time.

  • I've been watching your videos for a while here in sheffield England and I must say I'm very impressed with the production and quality of the information they contain. It appears that you're passing on all this knowledge and experience for what appears to be the love of the music and the wish to share it with whoever is interested. Very commendable keep it up I love what you're doing and may the future be good to you.

  • g lick :D

  • Always the best vids here!
