Fun with sponges! Blending color directly onto your stamp for a soft, blended effect using the sponge daubing technique.
For best results when using dye inkpads, ink your stamp in the lightest color first, then apply the darker or brighter colors by sponge daubing. This keeps your inkpad clean. Remember to clean your stamp between inkings.
Stamp set and papers used in this video are both included in the Sophia Workshop kit, item #G1019 for $29.95. To purchase this or other Close to My Heart products, shop my website at http://thestampgoddess.myctmh.com

  • such a pretty card! would you mind telling me the name and brand of that fabulous nail polish??

  • @bcdoula The nail polish is Sally Hansen Xtreme wear, color: celeb city. It almost looks like silver leaf, it's so shiny.

  • Hahahah...love your videos! I am supposed to be painting my craft room...but I have lost the will to live......talk about Cinderella! So I have spent the last half an hour, with a big cup of tea, watching your videos...great stuff. You are really inspirational and I love your clean, crisp style. I would love to know what camera you prefer, I notice you mention you have a new one...with glare! I intend to buy one and would appreciate some advice. TFS..your latest 'Subbie' Bea :-}

  • @123angelbea I'm switching away from my Samsung, loved it but it wasn't allowing me to use a widescreen format. Right now I'm using my Logitech pro9000 webcam, same one as I use for my live ustream shows. It's got great HD but the autofocus is a little too sensitive, you'll see it trying to refocus on the background in this last batch of the videos. But I'm pleased with the quality, so I'll stick with it for a while until I want to splurge on a new HD video cam. Just need to adjust my lights.
