The Arunga-Hellon Saga

Media personality Esther Arunga and jazz musician and preacher Joseph Hellon have come out to deny that the finger of god church, the church in which they are both leaders, is a cult. The two addressed the media after word spread that Esther had quit her job and broken off her engagement as well as disowned her family to stay with Hellon under mysterious circumstances. Esther did indeed confirm that she had moved into Hellon's house and insisted that there was nothing strange about that, as they were both business partners and leaders of the church and they felt they should stay close. In a story that has shocked many TV viewing Kenyans, the comely TV presenter, who quit her job last week, insisted that she had left for personal reasons to concentrate her energies on an evangelistic church many still find a bit strange for allowing activities associated with the secular world like drinking alcohol and partying.
