  • Also, if you would like to forget taping, try using curly willow in the vase. Cut a branch and push into the water so that it is tight, then use this as a base for your leaves and flowers, it looks nice too.

  • Good for you Buckyboy! I also prefer not to use a grid. As you must know from your years of experience gridding is flower basics 101, most upscale florists do not use a grid. But, viewers who would tune into making a simple flower arrangement are obviously not going to have your years of experience, and this does make it much easier for greening if someone is trying for the first time.   • I have been a floral designer for 37 yrs now and have never use a grid you must be new to the floral industry
