@spacitymedic there is NOTHING wrong with being gay, if thats who you are Christ never said anything against that but condoned nothing but love and acceptance. turning your back on Christ is can be a recipe for misdirection and loss. glad you are doing better

When this song came out, I had just ended a two year long homosexual relationship. I spent so much time turning my back to Christ, searching for the cure for my loneliness, that I was pushing away the One True Solution to my problems. When I realized just how much I messed up, I was so filled with shame. How can Christ ever take me back after doing the things I did. This song spoke directly to my heart. I can forgive myself. Jesus forgave me. He is the only water that can take away my thirst.
