Now Available are the 2011 Mustang cog supercharger kit. We mounted a F1D centrifugal supercharger to our 2011 5.0 Mustang. The cog kit will support up to an F1R for 1,300+ horsepower. The front mount intercooler is from our stage 2 kit and the front spoiler courtesy of classic design concepts. The new cog race kit is available now from your ProCharger dealer. • @kphillips012 actually I think turbos have greater efficiency and in the end provide more horse power. But like you said they lag unlike a belt driven system which gives you power from the get go without needing to build your boost.

  • @petrolcreative You have to remember there are 3 types of efficiency at work here. A turbo is more efficient in drive loss but falls behind due to poor temperature efficiency.

  • do you guys have any systems for automatics? or do all your kits fit automatics? thanks!

  • @TheSolutionIAm Yes we make both manual and automatic for most of our kits. Call or check out out website for your specific application.

  • I'm a procharger customer for life.. If you like blowers it doesn't get any better than ATI

  • @henchicken1. They have optional helical cut internal gears for quieter operation. Listen to them in person; they're quieter then a twin screw...

  • @ Henchicken

The intercooler gives it away... regardless of how loud the blower is. I kinda like the blower whine. My old notch had a straight gear S-trim. Loved the sound of it.

  • @henchicken1 agreed.

  • these blowers are way to loud and give you away as soon as you start your engine!! everybody nows you have a blower under the hood! pro charger should work on quieting these down as it gets annoying quick on an everyday car!! I have one on an old 5.0, it works great, but i would go with a screw type on the new engine! they are much quieter!!! check the new zl1 camaro you can hardly hear the blower!!

  • @jsmorel86 Oh ok, wasn't aware this was going to be an 8 second car with 1,400whp my bad... I watch cars built like this have dyno charts like cars with turbos and bad turbo lag but to each their own...

  • @helloman1976 being prepared for a future built block bud. cheaper to buy the big sc once than buy the little one and a big one later

  • Is this a bone stock motor? Why did you go with the F1D if it is bone stock? Seems like a huge blower for such a small application for a base Mustang Gt doesn't it? The F1D makes up to 1,000hp, recommends 300-500 NA engine to run it and holds 4oz of oil compared to the D1SC that holds 6oz. The F series really is for strip/track cars and the D series and below are for street/semi-strip cars etc... Just curious why you chose that one. We have guys with F1A's on stock blocks...seems like a waste.
