China has the best reverse engineering system in the world. They can copy anything. They even copy a whole company. Now that's pure capitalism. People will always buy cheaper crap than pay the extra to have good products. Most of these products are sold in other developing countries, who can't afford to pay extra.

A book I'm reading about the history of cognac says that as early as the 1920's French cognac makers were dealing with Chinese counterfeits. Also, several months ago I was looking at one of those old-fashioned foot-operated Singer sewing machines at a thrift store, something from the 1930's. It was basically mint condition. However, the bottom of the sewing machine was stamped "made in China." Might have been Singer authorized but man, it a really good copy.

I hope this wakes up all those stupid people out there that though the Chinese were nice. They copy absolutely EVERYTHING. Most people and countries buy the technology off the creator the Chinese however simply send in an agent and steal it.
